Remuneration: £45,000 - £49,000 + discretionary bonusBenefits: Full benefits package The role of the Project Engineer - Temporary Works will involve:
- Project Engineer position, leading and managing temporary works design, particularly for formwork and falsework structures
- Liaise with Tier 1’s including: Kier, Laing O’Rourke, Skanska, Bam Nuttall, Ground Construction Ltd, Munnings etc
- Produce and review detailed drawings and ensure compliance with relevant standards
- Liaising regularly with the sales team to ensure the design brief is followed
- Carry out and verify structural calculations
- Work collaboratively with site teams, designers and subcontractors to implement safe and efficient temporary works
The ideal applicant will be Project Engineer - Temporary Works with:
- Must have Design Engineer / Project Engineer experience within the infrastructure temporary works market sector
- Must be familiar with design software such as AutoCAD / Revit
- Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- Familiar with determining maximum bend moments, shear and deflection
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Tenacious, professional and high attention to detail
