The Press Brake Setter role:
We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Setter to join our growing team. You will be responsible for setting and operating Amada press brake machines, ensuring the accurate production of precision sheet metal components to exact specifications.
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday – 7:30am – 4:30pm
- Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm
- Overtime is available – Tuesday – Thursday till 6.00pm and Saturday 7:30am – 11:30am
Key Responsibilities of our Press Brake Setter:
- Setting up and operating Amada press brake machinary.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Performing quality checks using measuring tools such as verniers, calipers and gauges.
- Adjusting machine settings to optimise production and maintain tolerances.
- Working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Carrying out basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
- Maintaining health and safety standards at all times.
Our ideal Press Brake Setter should have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter, ideally on Amada machines.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.
- The ability to work to tight tolerances.
- Reliable, punctual and a team player.
Rates negotiable depending on experience.
