Job Title: Mobile Domestic Electrical Engineer
Location: Oldham (with travel across Greater Manchester & surrounding areas)
Salary: £41,000 per annum
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Domestic Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. This is a mobile role covering Oldham and surrounding areas, working on a range of domestic electrical installations, maintenance, and reactive repairs in occupied and void properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical testing, fault finding, and repairs in domestic properties
- Install new circuits, consumer units, and carry out rewires as required
- Complete EICRs and ensure all work is compliant with current regulations
- Liaise with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out using a company-provided tablet or app
- Ensure safe working practices and adherence to health and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in domestic settings essential
- Good communication and time management skills
- AM2
