Sonic Summary

This role is for a Maintenance Electrician in a leading UK-based textiles manufacturer that values expertise and rewards performance.
The position offers a salary of £44,000 along with benefits such as an 8% pension contribution, life assurance, and 25 + 8 days of holiday.
Candidates should be apprentice trained and qualified to a Level 3 in electrical engineering, ideally with experience in the manufacturing or textiles environment.
The role requires strong electrical fault-finding abilities and involves carrying out planned preventive maintenance and responding to breakdowns.
The Maintenance Electrician will work rotating shifts from 6 am to 2 pm and 2 pm to 10 pm and must have the right to live and work in the UK.

The Maintenance Electrician with be joining a well-established Maintenance Team.

The Maintenance Electrician role is commutable from the following locations: Hyde, Denton, Manchester, Oldham, Middleton.

The Maintenance Electrician with work the following Shifts: Rotating 6am2pm & 2pm10pm

Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment
Respond to and diagnose breakdowns quickly and effectively
Perform electrical fault-finding and repair across a variety of textile machinery
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times
Work collaboratively with the wider maintenance and engineering teams
Support continuous improvement projects and process efficiency initiatives
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

Experience:

We are looking for an Apprentice trained Maintenance Electrician
Qualified to a Level 3 in electrical engineering
Ideally coming from a Manufacturing / Textiles environment.
Strong Electrical fault-finding abilities.
Experienced with Textiles equipment.
