Headteacher (SEND)
An established specialist education provider is seeking an experienced Headteacher to launch and lead a new independent specialist day school in Oldham, supporting pupils aged 5-16 with a range of SEND needs.
- Ideal start date: Feburary 2026 (no later than February 2026)
- School opening: Post-Easter 2026
- Part of a well-established group operating 13 other SEND schools across the UK
- Salary: 75000 - 85000
- Location: Oldham (OL8)

Essential requirements:
- Proven experience as a Headteacher or similar leadership role within a SEND school or specialist setting
- Strong understanding of school improvement, effective curriculum design and development
- Robust knowledge of the Independent School Standards
- Ability to inspire, motivate and support staff using a person-centred approach
- A pro-active, results-focused mindset
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
