Functional Skills Tutor

Are you an experienced Tutor with a background in supporting learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Were looking for passionate individuals to deliver Functional Skills English and Maths sessions to young people who require personalised, one-to-one support.

As a Tutor, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, personalised Functional Skills sessions.
Support learners with a wide range of additional and complex needs.
Adapt your teaching style to suit individual learning goals and abilities.
Build positive relationships with learners and their support networks.
Maintain professional standards and uphold safeguarding responsibilities.

You have experience working with learners with SEN and other additional needs.
You're confident in planning and delivering tailored English and Maths content.
You're flexible, empathetic, and committed to inclusive education.
You're reliable, professional, and passionate about helping young people succeed.

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people
To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:

Hold right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide references upon request
Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
