Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out daily cleaning duties across classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas.

  • Ensure all surfaces, floors, and furniture are cleaned and sanitised to a high standard.

  • Empty bins and dispose of waste safely.

  • Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls.

  • Operate cleaning equipment safely and in line with instructions.

  • Follow school health and safety guidelines, including correct use of cleaning chemicals and PPE.

  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to the site manager.

  • Work as part of a team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently, especially during busy periods such as events or term changes.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience in cleaning, ideally within a school or similar environment.

  • A good understanding of health and safety in a cleaning context.

  • Reliability and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.

  • A flexible and positive approach to work.
