Description
- Managing the Supply Chain to ensure flow of materials and availability
- Manage delivery schedules to ensure consolidation as much as possible to reduce transport costs
- Ensure that all purchases adhere to company policies and budget constraints.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Keeping accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Collaborating with other departments to forecast future supply needs.
- Participating in the development of procurement strategies and plans
Profile
A successful Buyer should have:
- Strong negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- A strong understanding of supply chain and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as Microsoft Office and procurement applications.
- The ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
Job Offer
- A competitive salary in the region of £36,000 - £40,000
- 25 days Annual leave plus Bank Holidays
- Lunchtime finish on Friday
