We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic English Teacher to join our school and foster a lifelong appreciation for the power of words and communication.We are currently recruiting for an English Teacher for 2 schools in Ashford Oldham with a start date of May 2025 or September. We are actively seeking experienced English teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) interested in embarking on a rewarding new journey with the potential for growth and exciting challenges.Role and Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging English language and literature lessons that captivate students' imagination and encourage critical thinking.
  • Instil a passion for reading and writing by introducing students to a diverse range of literary works and helping them develop their own expressive voice.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures students' language skills and self-confidence.
  • Assess students' language proficiency, provide constructive feedback, and track their progress.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, English Education, or a related field.
  • Teaching certification or relevant teaching qualifications. QTS
  • Proven experience of teaching English at the secondary or higher education level.
  • Excellent command of English grammar, literature, and writing techniques.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
