The school and role 

A school in the local authority of Oldham is requiring a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team of Teachers and Level 3 or Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant staff group. Working alongside the Teachers and enhancing the classroom in the absence of the teacher. The whole school environment is reassuring and encouraging.

Working in either (KS1 or KS2) you will be proficient in Maths, English and Science at varying levels.

Requirements 

To be considered for the Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will: 

  • Level 3 or 4 with extensive experience covering lessons or a HLTA that is looking for a change of school.
  • ECTS, Teachers and NQTs will be considered.
  • Will have recent experience working in either KS1 or KS2 or who understands the key components of both areas of primary education.
  • A constructive and positive attitude towards learning and development
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
  • A desire to work within a school that values continuous improvement and professional growth
