Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

TimePlan Education is recruiting an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join one of our supportive and forward-thinking partner secondary schools. This role is ideal for a qualified Level 3 practitioner who is confident supporting KS3 and KS4 students in and out of the classroom.
Role Overview:
You will work alongside teachers to deliver effective classroom support, provide targeted interventions and help maintain a positive learning environment. You will support a wide range of learners including those with SEND, EAL and those needing emotional or behavioural guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality support within KS3/KS4 lessons
- Lead small-group interventions (literacy, numeracy, revision)
- Offer 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs
- Assist with planning, preparing and reviewing learning activities
- Support behaviour management and promote positive routines
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
- Contribute to EHCP targets and progress tracking where needed
What we're looking for:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) required
- Experience supporting students in a secondary school setting
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds
- Confident, proactive and able to use initiative
- Passionate about helping young people achieve their potential
