An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for Oldham Council. This is a temporary Children's Social Worker role within the MASH team. In this role you will benefit from a competitive hourly rate whilst having the opportunity to work in a professional and vibrant environment.
- Within this role you will be responsible for taking details from members of the public and professionals via telephone.
- You will be gathering accurate information from databases, seeking consent from families for further checks and completing these checks.
- You will also be analysing the data received and making further recommendations to outside local agencies. You are required to represent MASH team at meetings with agencies and assist with presentations about MASH and referral process.
For this position you will need hold a recognised social work qualification and be SWE registered. Furthermore, you will have at least two years post qualifying experience in statutory childcare setting to support your ability for this role.
