Your new companyYour new role is working for a large contractor who has recently won many social housing contracts across the North. Your new roleWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Tiler to join our team, working on a dedicated social housing bungalow scheme. The role involves tiling kitchens, bathrooms, and communal areas to a high standard, ensuring safe, durable, and visually appealing finishes for residents. You will be required to;

  • Carry out wall and floor tiling in occupied and void bungalows
  • Prepare surfaces, including levelling and waterproofing, prior to installation
  • Cut, lay, and grout tiles with precision and attention to detail
  • Work closely with other trades to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Communicate effectively with site supervisors and tenants when required

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in residential tiling, ideally within social housing
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong knowledge of materials, adhesives, and tools
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • NVQ Level 2 in Wall and Floor Tiling (desirable but not essential)
