At Prospero Teaching, we are looking for tutors to work with schools, Local Authorities and Virtual Schooling Teams within Oldham and across Greater Manchester.
As well as private enquires we work mainly with Local Authorities and students who are often experiencing a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people who struggle with their mental health.
We are building a strong, professional and reliable team in Greater Manchester, if you hold a certificate in education or above and have a passion for working with a variety of young learners then we would love for you to join our team!
We can offer flexibility to suit your needs, tuition can take place within school hours or early evening, online or in person. We will work with stakeholders to find the perfect environment for you and the young person.
The individual must be good at working independently when tutoring off site therefore it is vital that they are organised, punctual and reliable, we have grown through or reputation so it is precious to us that this continues.

The ideal candidate will have:
QTS or equivalent
Tutoring experience
Patient, empathetic and creative
Experience working with SEMH & SEN
Essential for the role:
A valid Right to Work
An Enhanced DBS on the update service, or the ability to complete one
A minimum of two references to cover the last two years of employment
