We have an opportunity for a Welder/Fabricator to join a long-standing engineering firm at their site in Oldham.

This is a hands-on role that requires skill, precision, and a strong understanding of welding and fabrication techniques.

What’s on offer?

£15.00 - £17.50 per hour
Monday – Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm
Early finish on Fridays
24 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
Overtime available (paid at 1.5x)

What will you be doing as a Welder Fabricator?

TIG & MIG welding on mild and stainless steel
Working with light to medium gauge steel (1mm - 20mm)
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Cutting, bending, and fabricating metal components
Operating overhead cranes for material handling
Ensuring all work meets NDT/X-ray testing standards

What do you need?

Proven experience in welding and fabrication
Ability to read technical drawings
Experience working with mild and stainless steel
Familiarity with NDT/X-ray standards (desirable)
