We are now looking for a Production Engineer to join the Hardware Development R&D Team. As our Production Engineer, you will assist with prototype build of pre-production products including production engineering review of new products and major product changes. You will ensure that new products are designed to comply with relevant safety standards, generate and modify drawings, prepare build instructions and generally provide support for all mechanical engineering issues. We can offer an attractive package of up to 45,000 plus excellent benefits including 25 days holiday which increases to 28 with service, pension, private medical and more. We invite applications from experienced Production Engineers with the following attributes:

• Minimum of a HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering is essential having completed an engineering/technical apprenticeship being an advantage
• Experience using 3D CAD program
• Knowledge and understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes (sheet metal fabrication, extrusions, casting, moulding, machining).
• Broad background in electro-mechanical product development, manufacture and testing procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electro/mechanical technical drawings
