Role Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Sous Chef to work closely with our Head Chef and support the day-to-day running of the kitchen. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of a team, leads by example, and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations
- Assisting with food preparation, service, and menu execution
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
- Ensuring all food hygiene, health & safety, and HACCP regulations are strictly followed
- Helping to train and support junior kitchen staff
- Maintaining consistency and quality during busy service periods.
- Several years experience working as a Sous Chef or in a similar senior kitchen role
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety regulations
- A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to work under the Head Chef
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
- Reliable, professional, and committed to high standards
