Are you a Plant Fitter or similar with a background in Heavy Plant Machinery looking for a technical role within a multi-million pound company?
Do you want to work for a well-established business, offering ongoing progression opportunities into their parent company?
This company, established in the 1960's now have a multi-million pound turnover. With multiple offices in the UK and abroad they have a global impact within the Geotechnical and Construction industries. They have recently taken on large projects, with additional projects forecast into 2026, and as a result are looking for a Plant Fitter to join their team in Ormskirk.
In this varied role you will join a team of 12 in the yard, working on a variety of machinery. You will be involved in fault finding on Mechanical and Electrical equipment, as well as rigging, carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance, sharing your knowledge with junior employees and acting as a mentor.
This role would suit a Plant Fitter or similar with a background in Heavy Plant Machinery, looking for a technical role within a global organisation, offering ongoing progression and career development.
The Role:
- Working on Heavy Plant Machinery.
- Faul finding.
- Carrying out inspections and maintenance.
- Monday to Thursday (7:30am - 5pm) / Friday (7:30am - 1pm).
The Person:
- Plant Fitter or similar.
- Commutable to Ormskirk site.
