Job Title: Asbestos Administrator
Location: Orpington, Kent

A UKAS Accredited Asbestos consultancy is seeking a switched-on and detail-oriented Asbestos Administrator for their office in the South East of England. You will be a key member of the team, supporting the smooth delivery of surveying and analytical projects. Candidates must have strong administrative experience and a good client-facing manner, and will have ideally worked within a UKAS accredited Asbestos outfit. Applicants will be commuting to the office, so local access to the region is essential. They are offering competitive salaries and usual benefits for the successful candidate.

Ideally, you will be based locally to: Orpington, Swanley, Bromley, Croydon, Sidcup, Bexleyheath, Erith, Dartford, Gravesend, Chatham, Snodland, Aylesford, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Oxted, Westerham, Caterham, Redhill, Epsom, Sutton, Mitcham, Barking, Dagenham, Rainham, Grays, Tilbury.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Strong administrative experience within an Asbestos Consultancy
- Excellent phone manner and interpersonal skills
- Good organisation skills
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Proficient in using IT software, such as: Microsoft Office suite, TEAMS and / or Tracker
- Hardworking attitude
- Able to prioritise workloads

The Role:
- Working within a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy, supporting daily delivery of services to clients
- Managing appointments for asbestos surveyors and analysts
- Contacting clients to arrange site access and book / amend appointments
- Proof-reading and editing reports before issuing to clients
- Producing schematic drawings for reports
- Meeting with operations managers and directors to track the progress of projects
- Ensuring works adhere to agreed timeframes
- Maintaining strong lines of communication with clients
- Answering enquiries from clients in a timely manner
