16.00 per hour + Benefits
Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm
Are you a Stores, Warehouse, or Dispatch Operative looking for a contract role within a busy manufacturer of scientific equipment, offering structured training and potential for long-term work?
The business manufactures high-precision scientific instruments and is expanding their stores and logistics team to support production and global shipments.
As a Stores & Dispatch Operative, you will manage stock, pick and issue materials, and prepare finished products for dispatch to customers and subcontractors.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, detail-oriented individual to join a business that invests in its people and processes.
The Role:
- Receive, check, and book goods in
- Pick and issue materials to production
- Pack and dispatch finished goods, including courier bookings
- Audit stock and maintain accurate inventory records
- Assist with loading/unloading (forklift license desirable)
- Keep relevant teams updated regularly
The Person:
- Experience in stores, warehouse, or dispatch operations
- Good communication, time management, and attention to detail
- Knowledge of ERP/computerised stock systems
- Forklift license desirable but not essential
