As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be working with pupils on a 1to1 and small group basis.
Ideally you will have experience of working as an SEN Teaching Assistant with students and supporting learning in KS1/5 with students with challenging behaviour.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities include:
- To provide a safe, supportive and nuturing classroom environment
- To liaise with the lead teacher in preparing the classroom
- Support children with special educational needs and diverse learning styles.
- Track and monitor student progression
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.
The school has an excellent support team and experienced SLT as part of the extended team
