English Teacher | The Role
- Full-time English Teacher position with additional responsibility
- Competitive Outer London salary, based on experience
- Must hold an English Degree from a Top UK University
- PGCE with QTS required
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding GCSE and A-Level results
- Passionate about curriculum development and student progress
- Teach English Language and Literature across KS3-KS5, delivering well-structured and engaging lessons
- Play a key role in curriculum planning, ensuring all lessons align with our Big Ideas framework:
- Literature: Context, Change, Power, Identity, Relationships, Social Responsibility
- Language: Perspective & Purpose, Vocabulary, Inference, Structure, Effect on Reader, Techniques, Compare & Contrast
- Help students prepare for GCSE and A-Level exams, ensuring strong results in key texts like Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, Animal Farm, and An Inspector Calls
- Support the department with targeted interventions and enrichment opportunities
- Work closely with a dedicated team of teachers who are committed to delivering a high-quality English education
