Roles and Responsibilities

Working from print specs, preparation of files for both Flexo and Digital.

Stepping and QC of files for output to Flexographic plate and Digital Press.

QC of own and colleague’s single unit and stepped files.

Reprographic Mac Operator

The Candidate

• Experienced reprographic operator

• Experience with BWS brands (Beer, Wine, Spirits)

• Experience in file preparation for both Flexo and Digital

• Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

• Ideally experience of Esko AE and workflows

• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-moving environment

Key Words: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat), Large Format Printing,  Digital Printing,  RIP Software (e.g., Fiery, Onyx), Prepress, CMYK / RGB / Pantone Matching,  Proofing, Imposition,  Mac OS / macOS, File Conversion (PDF, TIFF, EPS, etc.), Colour Management, Finishing (Cutting, Laminating, Mounting), Print File Setup, Layout and Design,  Variable Data Printing (VDP), Workflow Automation, Job Ticketing.
