Night Care Assistant

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Night Care Assistant to join our clients caring and supportive team, providing high-quality overnight care to residents. You will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and wellbeing of individuals throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting residents with personal care needs during the night

• Monitoring and responding to individual needs and call bells

• Assisting with bedtime and morning routines

• Carrying out regular wellbeing checks and accurate record keeping

• Promoting dignity, respect, and independence at all times

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment

• Communicating effectively with colleagues and reporting any concerns

About You:

• Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential.

• A kind, patient, and respectful approach.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication and observation skills.

• A genuine passion for helping others.

• Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent care.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is a must due to the nature of the role.

• Up-to-date care training is preferred.

Hours of work: 21:30 – 07:30
