The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher to support students in their learning and development. Your duties will include:
Supporting the teacher with classroom management and preparing resources
Assisting with the delivery of lessons, both in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
Helping to monitor and support students' progress, providing additional support to those who need it
Ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment by working closely with pupils to meet their individual needs
Supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) where required
Assisting with the creation of displays, activities, and learning materials
What We're Looking For:
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
The ability to adapt to the needs of individual students and support their learning
Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable but not essential
A passion for helping children succeed and reach their full potential
