Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Oswestry. As a General Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be responsible for delivering a range of clinical duties, ensuring patients receive compassionate, safe, and effective care tailored to their needs.
Key Responsibilities-
Patient Care: Provide direct care to patients, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care plans.

Clinical Skills: Administer medications, manage wound care, assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), and monitor vital signs.

Collaboration: Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care, including liaising with doctors, allied health professionals, and support staff.

Communication: Maintain clear, accurate, and timely communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Documentation: Ensure accurate and up-to-date clinical records are maintained, in compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.

Safeguarding: Adhere to safeguarding procedures, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable patients.

Patient Advocacy: Provide emotional support and advocacy for patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey.

Emergency Response: Respond effectively to emergencies, providing support in critical situations (e.g., CPR, code blue).

Compliance: Ensure compliance with infection control standards, health and safety regulations, and trust policies.

Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training, development, and educational opportunities to maintain and improve nursing competencies.

Registered Nurse (RN) with valid NMC registration (or equivalent for your country)

Minimum 1 year's experience in a clinical nursing role (acute, community, or residential care)

Knowledge and experience in patient care, medication management, and wound care

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues

Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Up-to-date DBS check and proof of immunizations (or willingness to undergo checks)

Flexible with shift work and weekend duties as needed

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when necessary
