Morson are exclusively partnering with a manufacturing organisation in Otley, West Yorkshire, to recruit for a HR Generalist on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity.

This is a full-time position and will be based on-site. Salary is between £40,000 - £45,000 DOE.

This manufacturing site is going through an exciting period of growth and has a lot of investment from the global Group, so recruitment is currently at the forefront of their agenda. However, this is a stand-alone role so the HR Generalist will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle.

The Role:

  • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Manage employee onboarding and orientation processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to address HR-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational objectives.
  • Assist with Employee Relations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in manufacturing is essential.
  • Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
