Estimator – Otley – £40,000–£50,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Do you have experience producing accurate estimates from drawings and Bills of Quantity?

Are you commercially astute with excellent Excel and IT skills?

  What you NEED
  • Proven experience as an Estimator within construction, manufacturing, or any related industries - Estimating experience is more important sector specific knowledge

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and Bills of Quantity

  • Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel capability

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills

  • Commercial awareness with a detail-driven approach

Salary: £40,000–£50,000 (fullydepending on experience)

Hybrid working pattern available (after initial training)

8:30am–5:00pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30am–4:30pm Friday

Role & Responsibilities

Prepare accurate estimates from architectural drawings and Bills of Quantity

Liaise with suppliers across the UK and internationally (China, Vietnam, Portugal, Spain)

Collaborate with the sales team to secure new business

Handle day-to-day commercial administration tasks

Apply attention to detail and commercial acumen to deliver accurate proposals

Contribute as a key team player in a supportive and professional environment
