Estimator – Otley – £40,000–£50,000 + Bonus + Benefits

If the answers to the above are YES, then our client, a market leader in their field are keen to add an estimator to their established team in a role that will include significant career progression for the right applicant. 

• Proven experience as an Estimator within construction, manufacturing, or any related industries - Estimating experience is more important sector specific knowledge

• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and Bills of Quantity

• Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel capability

• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills

• Commercial awareness with a detail-driven approach

Salary: £40,000–£50,000 (fullydepending on experience)

Performance-related company bonus

Hybrid working pattern available (after initial training)

Supportive, adult working culture with flexibility if required

8:30am–5:00pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30am–4:30pm Friday

• Previous exposure to the construction materials or hard landscaping sector

• CAD experience

• Experience liaising with international supply chains

Prepare accurate estimates from architectural drawings and Bills of Quantity

Liaise with suppliers across the UK and internationally (China, Vietnam, Portugal, Spain)

Collaborate with the sales team to secure new business

Handle day-to-day commercial administration tasks

Apply attention to detail and commercial acumen to deliver accurate proposals

Contribute as a key team player in a supportive and professional environment
