The Company
Our client a trusted and respected name in the civil engineering and construction industry is experiencing an exciting period of growth and looking to expand their team. They take projects from conception all the way through to delivery and support clients through every stage of the project lifecycle!
Role Summary
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be supporting the smooth running of the Civil Construction office in an administrative role. In this industry you could be organising project meetings, typing up documents, responding to business enquiries and providing customer service. This job also includes the admin and running of our Fleet, with tasks such as liaising with drivers, inputting data, and keeping up to date with the latest MOT and servicing dates. This is a new position so has great scope to put your stamp on the role and to develop within the company..the opportunities are endless!
Main Responsibilities
- Providing full administration support to the Civil and Construction team
- Acting as the first point of contact within the company answering calls and transferring accordingly
- Preparing meeting agendas, and circulating
- Assisting the team to book meetings and organising diaries
- Maintaining physical and electronic files or other organisational system
- Managing the supplier approval system
- Chasing and compiling site health & safety documents and construction site documents
- Ordering and purchasing materials, arranging deliveries, and tracking status of orders
- Providing clerical and administrative support for the civil and construction delivery team
- Raising purchase orders
- Fleet administration
- Updating social media such as Facebook and LinkedIn with company projects
