This strategic Senior Accountant hire will support the firm’s ambitious expansion plans while helping a broad portfolio of SME clients succeed.This role offers the opportunity to work closely with directors and key stakeholders, building strong client relationships and making a real impact. You’ll bring a mix of technical expertise, commercial awareness, and leadership to a collaborative, supportive team environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate statutory accounts in compliance with relevant regulations
  • Manage and develop client relationships, acting as a trusted financial advisor
  • Supervise and mentor junior and semi-senior staff, supporting their progression
  • Produce management accounts and deliver insights to help clients make informed decisions
  • Offer tax planning and advisory services to both individuals and companies
  • Collaborate with clients to implement tailored growth strategies
Qualifications & Skills
  • ACA/ACCA qualified (QBE considered), with at least four years of experience in a UK accountancy practice
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage complex data and multiple deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both internally and client-facing
  • Flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic practice environment
  • Confident using a range of accounting software including IRIS, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
