Corporate Tax Senior – Oxfordshire

The Role:

As a Corporate Tax Senior, you will play a key role in managing a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, providing high-quality tax compliance and advisory services. Working closely with Managers and Partners, you'll have the opportunity to deepen client relationships, support junior staff, and contribute to strategic tax planning projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the corporate tax compliance process for a varied client portfolio, ensuring all deadlines are met.

  • Prepare and review corporation tax returns and computations.

  • Assist with tax advisory work including R&D claims, group structuring, and tax planning strategies.

  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients regarding tax enquiries and disclosures.

  • Provide support and guidance to junior staff members, reviewing work and assisting with their development.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and its practical application.

About You:
  • ACA/ACCA and/or ATT/ CTA qualified.

  • Proven experience in corporate tax within a UK accountancy practice.

  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of UK tax legislation.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.

  • Detail-oriented, highly organised, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.

  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to support and develop others.
