The Opportunity
Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working with a highly successful Oxfordshire-based independent property business who are looking to recruit an organised and efficient Service Charge Accountant to join a specialist team based in North Oxford.??
Working directly alongside the Head of Finance, the Service Charge Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of client’s finances and management of funds. A big part of this role will involve the production and review of client year-end accounts, creating monthly finance reports, setting, managing and monitoring budgets, and ensuring a high level of detail when working with property management accounting software.
Our client are experts in their space and have a strong infrastructure in place but as part of this role, the successful Service Charge Accountant should be forward-thinking and innovative in their approach with a willingness and ambition to improve processes and deliver an excellent service to clients and colleagues alike.
The successful Service Charge Accountant must be autonomous and able to manage their own workload yet extremely personable and a strong team player.

Requirements
- Experience within a comparable Property/Service Charge Accountant role
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisation skills
- Experience of using property management accountancy software
- Self-sufficient with the confidence to manage the day-to-day running of client’s finances
