A highly respected, award-winning architectural practice is looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join its RIBA-chartered team in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a wide range of exciting projects, from early design through to completion, within a collaborative, design-led environment.
Responsibilities for the role of Senior Architectural Technologist:
- Lead the technical delivery of projects across multiple sectors, ensuring adherence to UK building regulations and best practices
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications and tender documentation using AutoCAD
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
- Mentor and support junior staff, providing technical guidance and oversight
- Conduct site visits and liaise with clients to maintain design quality throughout construction
Requirements:
- Degree or HND in Architectural Technology (or equivalent qualification)
- Significant experience in a similar role within a UK architectural practice
- Proficient in AutoCAD, with strong technical drawing skills
- In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, materials and construction methods
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects
- Excellent leadership, communication and team collaboration skills
