Site Maintenance Handyperson / Fabric Technician

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

Location: Oxford

Hours of Work: Mon - Fri, 8am -5pm

A fantastic opportunity to work for a large FM Service provider who are currently recruiting for a Site Maintenance Handyperson/Fabric Technician to work at a site based in Oxford. This is a permanent position paying a salary of £35,000 per annum. Working Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. With fantastic opportunities for career progression.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general building repair and maintenance
  • Changing of locks, door closures and other door furniture
  • Basic plumbing and small leak repairs
  • Small painting, decoration and making good Fitting of carpet tiles
  • To apply relevant trade skills to carry out reactive maintenance standards
  • Ensure health and safety of sites are met to regulation standards
  • L8 works are required on site

Candidate requirements;

  • Proven experience - working within general building and maintenance repairs
  • Relevant trade qualifications, such as City & Guilds / BTEC National Diploma / NVQ 2 in a trade or Building Maintenance Carpentry & Joinery/ is preferred.
  • Essential to have excellent client facing skills
