Join our dynamic team as a Facilities Manager and be the driving force behind the seamless operation of our high-tech office. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our facility, ensuring it is fully operational, energy-efficient, and resilient against various challenges. Day-to-day of the role:- Maintain and optimise our facility: Ensure the building is operational and energy-efficient, ready to withstand power, telecom, and environmental challenges.
- Monitor and manage critical systems: Oversee electrical, mechanical, and telecom systems, including Critical Power Supply and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Develop and execute preventative maintenance plans: Anticipate issues before they arise to ensure maximum uptime.
- Lead emergency response efforts: Be ready to respond 24/7 as a keyholder, tackling issues quickly to minimise disruption.
- Ensure compliance and risk management: Oversee all health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular risk assessments to meet compliance standards.
- Manage contractors and service providers: Select, negotiate, and oversee maintenance contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and high service levels.
- Build strong landlord and supplier relationships: Ensure lease compliance and maintain open communication with all stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement: Implement innovative ways to improve facility efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance sustainability.
- Minimum 5 years experience in facilities management or related field.
- Experience with Critical Power Supply Systems and BMS is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively across different departments.
- Friendly, bubbly personality, willing to help others, and comfortable being the keyholder and on-call Monday to Friday.
