Job Title: Project Engineer - Mechanical (Design & Build)
Location: Oxfordshire, UK
Salary: 65,000-70,000 + Pension & Healthcare

Overview:
We are seeking a Project Engineer with a mechanical building services background to join the team on a major design & build project Oxfordshire. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to work in a project-based, site-focused role with direct involvement in delivery, pricing, and pre-construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Senior Project Engineer on a high-value manufacturing project
• Assist with mechanical design coordination and reviews
• Provide input into pricing and tendering activities
• Contribute to pre-construction planning and technical submissions
• Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and site teams
• Ensure designs are aligned with buildability and delivery strategy
• Get involved with design development and procurement support

Requirements:

• 4-5 years' experience in mechanical building services design
• Background in consultancy or design office with a desire to move into site/project work
• Strong understanding of D&B project environments
• Familiar with HVAC and mechanical systems in commercial or industrial buildings
• Good communication and organisation skills
• Hands-on attitude and willingness to learn on the job
