Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Oxford (and surrounding areas)
Contract Type: Fixed-Term / Contract
Duration: 1 month initially, with the opportunity to extend if the quality of work is provided
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
Rate: 350 per day
About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join our team on a short-term contract in Oxford. You'll be responsible for conducting management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys across a range of properties, ensuring full compliance with HSG264 and all relevant asbestos regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out asbestos surveys in accordance with company and legislative standards
- Collect and record bulk samples accurately
- Produce high-quality survey reports and asbestos registers
- Liaise with clients and contractors, providing updates and technical advice
- Maintain excellent attention to detail and a strong health & safety focus
Requirements:
- BOHS P402 and S301 qualifications - essential
- Proven, hands-on experience conducting asbestos surveys across various property types
- Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and HSG264
- Excellent reporting and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence and ability to travel locally
