Responsibilities
* Respond quickly to breakdowns and issues
* Conduct routine checks and monitor the building management system, making adjustments as needed
* Collect and store materials safely using College vehicle
* Record and store chemicals following safety regulations
* Participate in water monitoring, including legionella checks
* Fault-find and repair electrical issues, updating records and documents
* Perform testing, inspections, and forward planning maintenance
* Complete emergency repairs and general maintenance tasks (e.g., changing bulbs, minor repairs)
* Assist with new electrical installations, updating drawings and safety files
* Use and maintain tools and equipment, reporting issues
* Follow health and safety policies, wearing PPE, and communicating via College radio
* Assist with workshop cleanliness and participate in on-call duties
Person Specification
* Experience in multi-trade repairs, planned maintenance, and small projects
* Electrical repair and maintenance experience
* City & Guilds/NVQ or AM2 in electrical maintenance and installation, plus 18th Edition
* PAT testing experience
* Reside within 30-45 mins of the centre of Oxford and hold a valid driver's license
* Call-out rota experience is desirable
