We are urgently recruiting for an Engineering Project Manager on behalf of our client to work in the Oxford area. This is a full time Monday to Friday role. Hybrid working available. You will need to be able to drive and have access to a vehicle. Visits to site may be required, mileage will be reimbursed as calculated from base. This is a 6 month contract.

You will need to have:

  • Substantial experience working within the specified area of expertise (infrastructure project management)
  • Knowledge and experience of leading large complex projects
  • Qualified to chartered or equivalent level as required of the role e.g. Chartered
  • Engineer or Project Management Professional
  • Evidence of a proactive approach to continuous professional development
  • Management qualification and/or experience of managing at the required level i.e. managing multi-disciplinary project teams (either directly or via matrix management) in a similar discipline/organisation.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience in new transport infrastructure (not just highways maintenance)
  • NEC4 contract experience
  • Experience of procurement frameworks
