Our client is a reputable growing business with offices strategically located across the globe. The have a new permanent requirement in their business for an experienced Project Manager.
Reporting into the MD, the key responsibilities will be to:
- Follow a standard process, as defined by a professional project management organisation, such as APM (Association for Project Management), and the project methodology PRINCE2.
- Initiate the project, check feasibility and work out budgets, teams and resources.
- Carry out planning in accordance with the needs of our client, including setting goals and objectives, defining roles and producing schedules and time lines for tasks. Some tools, such as Gantt charts, can be used to create a visual project plan.
- Select, lead and motivate your project team from both internal and external stakeholder organisations.
- Manage the project, which includes coordinating the project team to keep them on track and keeping the project on budget.
- Carry out monitoring and control activities to track the progress of the project.
- Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time.
- Implement any necessary changes throughout the process.
Candidates that apply must have previous Project Management experience within the construction sector. You must be able to work to tight deadlines and have the ability to control budgets. Strong communication skills are essential, as well as being organised and a team player.
On offer is a salary of 70-90k (depending on experience), car allowance, bonus and a generous benefits package. The role will be hybrid working, based out of their offices near Oxford.
