Location: Oxfordshire (Hybrid Working)

Overview

An award-winning building services consultancy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their established team in Oxfordshire. You'll be working directly underneath an Associate Mechanical Engineer whilst overseeing a small team of Mechanical Engineer. With over 4 offices across the UK and investment plans to open more - it's a great opportunity to join an established, socially active business that's set for further growth. As a team you'll be working on a wide variety of projects some including:

  • New-build and refurbished schools
  • Care home modernisation
  • Decarbonisation and sustainability projects with the heritage sector, targeting net zero by 2030

The role will focus on technical delivery and team collaboration, with client interaction primarily led by the Director, who brings in the majority of the work.

Role Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
  • Chartered or working toward Chartered Engineer status (CIBSE, IMechE or equivalent)
  • Strong technical design background across mechanical building services
  • Comfortable delivering projects from RIBA Stage 3 onwards
  • Able to mentor junior engineers and support technical team growth
  • Knowledge of UK regulations and sustainability targets
  • Effective communicator and team player

Experience in the education or care sectors is desirable but not essential.
