Location: Oxford
Salary: 45,000 - 55,000 + Benefits

A highly respected consultancy is seeking a Senior Air Quality Consultant to join its established team in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to lead project delivery, manage clients, and mentor junior staff while working on a diverse portfolio of transport, infrastructure, and urban development projects.

As a Senior Air Quality Consultant, you will take responsibility for delivering air quality impact assessments, dispersion modelling, and regulatory compliance reporting. You will be client-facing, liaising with developers, planners, and local authorities, while ensuring projects are delivered to the highest technical and commercial standards.

Duties for the role of Senior Air Quality Consultant include:

  • Leading the delivery of technical assessments and modelling projects

  • Producing and reviewing high-quality reports and ES chapters

  • Managing client relationships and supporting business development

  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior consultants

  • Attending site visits, client meetings, and public inquiries when required

Skills and experience required for the role of Senior Air Quality Consultant:

  • 4+ years of consultancy or regulatory experience in air quality

  • Proficiency in ADMS, AERMOD, and knowledge of IAQM/EPUK guidance

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geography, or related subject

  • Chartered status (CEnv/IAQM) or working towards accreditation desirable

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills

  • Full UK driving licence
