Job Title: Senior Air Quality Consultant
Location: Oxford
Salary: 45,000 - 55,000 + Benefits
A highly respected consultancy is seeking a Senior Air Quality Consultant to join its established team in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to lead project delivery, manage clients, and mentor junior staff while working on a diverse portfolio of transport, infrastructure, and urban development projects.
As a Senior Air Quality Consultant, you will take responsibility for delivering air quality impact assessments, dispersion modelling, and regulatory compliance reporting. You will be client-facing, liaising with developers, planners, and local authorities, while ensuring projects are delivered to the highest technical and commercial standards.

Duties for the role of Senior Air Quality Consultant include:
Leading the delivery of technical assessments and modelling projects
Producing and reviewing high-quality reports and ES chapters
Managing client relationships and supporting business development
Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior consultants
Attending site visits, client meetings, and public inquiries when required
Skills and experience required for the role of Senior Air Quality Consultant:
4+ years of consultancy or regulatory experience in air quality
Proficiency in ADMS, AERMOD, and knowledge of IAQM/EPUK guidance
Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geography, or related subject
Chartered status (CEnv/IAQM) or working towards accreditation desirable
Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills
Full UK driving licence
