About the JobA new opportunity has arisen for a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to take a strategic lead in aligning financial processes with organisational goals. Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a key role shaping the financial future of the organisation. You’ll lead a high-performing team of finance business partners and work across all departments to embed financial insight and drive impactful decision-making.
Duties will include:

Leading the annual budget process and overseeing strategic financial planning

Producing detailed financial forecasts and managing regular reforecast cycles

Creating management reports, KPIs, and variance analysis for senior stakeholders

Enhancing business partnering activities across departments to add measurable value

Strengthening financial governance and ensuring robust controls are in place

Leading audit readiness and tracking control improvements

Managing a team of business partners, supporting their growth and development

Collaborating closely with the Financial Controller to improve financial accuracy and timeliness
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a strong background in performance management, commercial finance, and large-scale financial operations. Experience in life sciences or healthcare is advantageous. You’ll be a strategic thinker with the ability to influence at senior levels, lead teams effectively, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced, mission-led environment.
