We are pleased to be working with a Top 40 Chartered Accountancy who are currently looking to hire an experienced Payroll Manager to lead and manage their internal payroll function across multiple sites. This is a permanent, full time role.
As Payroll Manager, you will work closely with HR & Finance teams and will report directly into the Group Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing a full end to end in-house payroll across all group offices
- Oversee compliance with UK legislation
- Manage year end processes (P60s, P11Ds, HMRC submissions)
- Drive standardisation and efficient processes
- Ensure internal controls, risk management, and preparation for internal & external audits
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role - ideally processing internal payrolls in a stand alone capacity
- Expert knowledge of UK payroll legislation
- Experience of processing multi-sited or various group payrolls
- Experience processing internal payroll within a Chartered Accountancy or Professional Services organisation
- Proven track record in process improvement and efficiency
