Role Overview:
To carry out joinery and building work on social housing contracts to enable installations of central heating, solar PV and battery storage systems.
On a long-term contract ensuring all work undertaken is completed with due regard for quality, productivity and safety.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Undertake joinery work on central heating & electrical installation sites.
- Undertake all joinery/building tasks necessary in the installation of central heating, solar PV and battery storage installs.
- Carry out works in conjunction with central heating installs.
- Remove and refit kitchen units, lift and relay floorboards, boiler and rad pads, pipe boxing, building and framing cupboards for hot water cylinders, small plaster works, render patching and bases installations for air source heat pumps.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety and other relevant legislation.
- Always act as a representative of the Company and ensure that the customer is completely satisfied.
Skills & experience:
- Industry knowledge.
- Able to communicate effectively with key people.
- Essential time management.
- UK driving license.
- Sufficiently mobile and flexible towards hours and place of work.
Qualifications
- City and Guilds in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent.
