Product Designer – Inside IR35

Our client is urgently seeking an experienced Product Designer to join their team on a contract basis, initially for 12 months with a view to extend.

Please note the role is Inside of IR35. Ideally, you will be on-site twice per week in Oxford, however this is up for negotiation.

Product Designer – Key Skills:

• Soft skills such as great attention to detail. You’re an effective and considered communicator, you have resilience, and solid stakeholder management capabilities, amongst others.

• Output quality skills such as being able to oversee quality and consistency of work and understand a project’s requirements at a strategic and tactical level, amongst others.

• Project delivery skills such as understanding and defining a project’s scope, outcome, and deliverables. Working at various velocities depending on the project needs, and prioritising work based on learnings and priority shifts, amongst others.

• Product design skills such as aligning user needs with business goals and value propositions, setting UX Product and service success metrics at the strategic, optimising, and assessing product development phases, producing customer journey maps, writing problem statements and creating job stories, and crafting workflows, amongst others.

• UX research skills such as creating research plans, understanding which quant vs. qual research method to utilise, and knowing when to conduct smaller research cycles for rapid feedback vs. broader research cycles for broader insight, amongst others.

• Visual design skills such as helping support in designing and maintaining design systems, recognising how to support accessibility standards, and helping adhere to visual design guidelines, amongst others.
