Graduate Town Planner - Private Planning Consultancy | Oxford | 24,000+

We're working with a dynamic and forward-thinking independent planning consultancy based in Oxford currently looking to expand their team with the addition of a Graduate Town Planner.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate with a relevant RTPI-accredited degree (or due to complete one) who's looking to join a collaborative team working on a diverse range of projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors.



What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting senior planners with planning applications, appeals, and site appraisals

  • Conducting research and policy analysis

  • Preparing planning documents, reports, and client-facing materials

  • Attending site visits and supporting public consultation activities

  • Working closely with private and public sector clients to deliver planning solutions



What We're Looking For:

  • A degree (or near completion) in Town Planning or a related subject (RTPI accredited)

  • Strong communication and report-writing skills

  • A genuine interest in planning and development

  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn

  • Previous work experience or placement in planning (desirable but not essential)
