Service Care Solutions is working alongside a growing local authority, based in Oxfordshire, which is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Solicitor to their Contracts and Conveyancing team. If successful, you will be responsible for managing a team of specialist lawyers, collaborating with internal clients to develop their knowledge and skills, and promoting a positive culture of continuous improvement.ROLE: Senior Contracts Solicitor  LOCATION: Oxfordshire – hybridUMBRELLA RATE: £50-£60phPAYE Inc. RATE: £44.06 - £52.76phCONTRACT LENGTH: 3 months ongoingKey responsibilities of the Senior Contracts Solicitor role:
  • Handle your own Commercial Contracts caseload from start to completion.
  • Manage a team of approximately 6 legal professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Law and Legal Business Partner and other members of Legal Services enabling the Legal Services Department to achieve excellence.
Key Requirements:
  • Hold a current practising certificate within England and Wales and have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a solicitor in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and its application in various sectors.
  • Previous experience working for a local authority within a commercial contracts legal team.
  • The ability to regularly attend the office 1-2 days per week.
