Actively recruiting for a Site Manager to join a well established principal contractor with a strong track record of delivering high quality construction projects across London and the South East. This Site Manager will join an existing team for a large scale fit out scheme in joint venture with a tier 1 Principal contractor. This role requires a proactive individual who can bring enthusiasm with the very best leadership.
The Role
As Site Manager you will be responsible for managing the day-to- day site operations on a complex, high value scheme. Reporting into an on site Project manager in order to deliver the scheme on time and within budget. As you will be partnered with a Tier 1 Principal contractor there are extra processes and paperwork required so the ideal candidate will be able to take a hands on approach to this and ideally have experience working with a Tier 1 Principal Contractor.
Requirements for the role
- Proven experience as a Site Manager either with a Principal or subcontractor managing fit-out schemes up to 10million.
- Strong technical construction knowledge and leadership ability
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- First Aid
- Experience of delivering high-spec residential, commercial or mixed use projects
- Ability to resolve challenges effectively and proactively
- Be proactive in your approach to ensure processes and procedures are adhered to correctly and with enthusiasm.
- Carpentry / Joinery background desired
