An established name in electrical and building services engineering, is expanding its design capability and is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing team. The Role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality mechanical systems across a variety of building types, including high-end residential properties and technically demanding commercial and industrial spaces.

You will:
Develop mechanical designs from concept through to detailed design and construction phases
Produce reports, drawings, and specifications aligned with all RIBA stages
Undertake mechanical calculations using industry standard software
Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants, including architects and contractors
Attend site inspections and project meetings
Supervise and mentor junior engineers and apprentices

Your Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Proven experience in mechanical building services design (consultant or contractor background)
HNC/HND or degree in mechanical/building services engineering
Working towards or already achieved IEng or CEng status (desirable)
CAD and Revit skills (BIM familiarity advantageous)
Clear, confident communication skills
A proactive, problem-solving attitude
Full UK driving licence
